Again this year I wanted to gather a new list of the local Greenville area haunted houses and Halloween attractions for 2011… what better place to gather this list than here at GreenvilleGhost.com? So if you are looking for what to do this year for Halloween fun in Greenville South Carolina you have come to the right place!

While I encourage everyone to come explore the actual hauntings, mysteries and history in downtown Greenville on our original Greenville Ghost Tour… during Halloween a lot of great family fun opens up for you to enjoy. The Stanley Hotel Haunted House

What: The Stanley Hotel was the inspiration for Stephen King’s “The Shining” but what really happened there was too disturbing for the movie. The Stanley Hotel Haunted House doesn’t scare you in the ways you’re expecting – it’s more of a bone-chilling, mind-altering, scream-for-your-mama kind of experience. The creators of the Stanley Hotel Haunted House won Best of the Upstate last year for “Gallow Halls,” and they have upped the creepiness factor even more for this year.
